Taliban Deputy Shadow Governor Among 10 Killed in Faryab Airstrike

Taliban’s shadow governor and head of it’s desert court Haji Mohammad Amin was among 10 insurgents killed in Faryab province, security officials said on Monday.

The deaths took place in Shash Tapa area of Khwaja Sabz Posh district in the province after NATO’s Resolute Support mission conducted airstrikes on a Taliban gathering in the district, Faryab police spokesman Abdul Karim Yourish told Reporterly.

Three Taliban insurgents were also wounded in the airstrikes, Yourish added.
Haji Mohammad Amin had been involved in several desert trials and destructive attack in Khwaja Sabz Posh, Shirin Tagab and Chahar Gana Andkhoy districts, according to Yourish.
