“I ask the judiciary to hold a public trial of the arrested terrorists and to invite the families of the martyrs as witnesses during the trial,” Mr. Saleh wrote on his Facebook page on Sunday.
“Sanawallah, who had linked Adil to the Taliban IS, is from the Naseri Ha village of Shakardara and has worked for the Haqqani network for many years. The agreement now is that Taliban takes responsibility for the attacks on military targets and IS-K (Daesh) takes responsibility for the attacks on civilians, which is nothing more than a name in this matter.”
Mr. Saleh had previously announced the arrest of the mastermind of the attack on Kabul University, saying that the man was named Adil who had studied religious school until the third grade and was later recruited by Sanawallah, a former member of the Haqqani Network.
He added that IS-K is just a name and that the people involved in the recent attacks are “Hizb ut-Tahrir, the Taliban, ISIL and so on.”
