Salang Pass Maintenance Authority said on Sunday, that the Pass is closed for the second day due to snow and storm.
The department added the probability of snowfall in the next 24 hours on the Salang highway will reach 90%.
Snow thickness on the north is reported to be 31cm in dept and at the southern part is about 30 cm.
Meanwhile, the department reported, that the Salang Highway is open to passenger vehicles, but must use Tire chains for better grip and safety.
The department has asked drivers to consider the speed, weight and height allowed when crossing the route.
