NATO Resolute Support Commander Visits Farah Province

The press office of the Farah Police has reported that General Scott Miller, the Commander of the NATO Resolute Support Forces in Afghanistan had made a visit to Farah province on Saturday.

Farah police said that Scott Miller’s visit aimed to assess the security situation the province.

Farah Police chief Rahmatullah Siddiqi praised NATO’s Resolute Support operations for suppressing armed insurgents and called for more cooperation in order to improve the security situation in the province.

General Miller also praised the courage of the Afghan security forces to fight the Taliban, and has expressed its support for these forces.
