Six Armed Taliban Killed and Wounded in Badghis Province

Two armed Taliban insurgents were killed and four other armed Taliban were wounded following a Counter-Terrorism operation as per a statement by Ministry of Interior.

The operation was carried out by General Command of Police Special Units (GCPSU) in Qarachghi region, Qadis district, northwestern Badghis province, yesterday.

No GCPSU member and civilian was harmed during the operation, the statement added.

The Afghan National Defense and Security Forces have stepped up Counter-Terrorism operations to suppress the insurgency activities of the terror groups.
