Taliban Torch Police Headquarter in Farah Province

The Taliban militants have burned down a police headquarter and killed a police commander in Posht-e Rod district of Farah province, local officials said.

A provincial member of the Farah province, Shah Mahmoud Naeemi told Reporterly that the Taliban had launched a complex attack on the police headquarter on Saturday night.

According to Naeemi, a police commander was killed and six police forces had gone missing during the clashes.

He added that the insurgents burned down and police headquarter and then left the area.
