Four Key Taliban Commanders Killed in Faryab Province

Afghan army in the north reported that four key Taliban commanders and seven subordinates were killed in Faryab province. Press office of 209 Shaheen Corps said in a statement on Thursday that “


as a result of clashes between defense and security forces and Taliban in the past 12 hours, in Dawlat Abad, Khwaja Sabz Posh and Qaysar districts of Farah province, four Taliban commanders of Taliban group by the name of Qari Gulbuddin, Qari Mohammadullah, Mullah Zarif known as Taimani and Mullah Abdullah known as Jahangeer were killed, along with 7 subordinates of these commanders in Faryab province.

During the clashes, a security personnel was killed and three others were wounded in Qaisar district of the province, Shaheen Corps added.
