Afghan security officials confirmed that an explosion took place on Thursday morning in Khost province.
The spokesman of Khost Police, Adel Haidar has confirmed to Reporterly that a blast took place at the vicinicty of Khost province early this morning.
Haidar added that the investigation team has gone to the area and there are no further details about the nature of the incident.
