President Ghani visited the victims of Tuesday’s Kabul blast in the hospital on Wednesday night.
There he addressed the issue of the blast and attacks on Afghans.
He began “In the course of our history, even under the darkest eras, there have never been such a targeted, coward and heinous attack against the Ulema, against the Birthday of the Prophet (PBUH) and against Islam.
Two days ago, enemies of Afghanistan broke all moral and Islamic values. They attacked our tradition and national identity.”
Talking about those responsible for the attack he said “Those who brought suicide attacks to our country are responsible for the attack. Taliban cannot absolve themselves of responsibility by only condemning the attack. They should stop killing Afghans, Muslims and human beings once and for all and take practical steps towards peace.”
Calling on international community for help, he insisted that “Sanctuaries and support infrastructure of suicide attacks, training centers and financial resources of terrorists are all located in a neighboring country. We demand from our international friends to identify the government and countries that support acts of terror in Afghanistan.”
