Akbar Rustami, the Spokesperson for Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock in a press conference on Tuesday said that now that the Saffron harvest season is over, there has been an increase of 21% which is equal to 13 tons.
He also said that the MAIL and saffron workers have carried out more than 280 exhibitive samples across 33 provinces.
Rustami also informed that saffron has been exported to 17 European and other countries this year and the MAIL has trained 6600 saffron workers this year.
