65 Taliban Insurgents Killed in Past 24 Hours

The ministry of interior released multiple statements informing that a total of 65 Taliban insurgents were killed in the past 24 hours.

Last night, 45 Taliban insurgents were killed and 20 others injured, while a group of armed Taliban attacked Dai Chopan district headquarters. Mulavi Abdul Bari, Taliban’s shadow district governor for Dai Chopan district of Zabul was among those killed.

Moreover, five Taliban insurgents were killed & 9 others injured following in an encounter with ANP in Peer Dunbal region, Bala Buluk district of Farah.

Finally, in a joint clearance operation, 10 Taliban insurgents were killed & 15 others injured in Sar-e-Pul City, while villages cleared of terrorists and the clearance operation ongoing in insecure villages of Sar-e-Pul City.
