The Director General of The Executive Board Afghanistan Atomic Energy High Commission lead a delegation to Tehran and signed a memorandum of understanding on peaceful nuclear cooperation with the head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran on Monday.

The High-level delegation of Atomic Energy Commission has traveled to Iran in order to become familiar with the capabilities of Iran’s nuclear industry and to expand bilateral cooperation in various fields of peaceful uses of nuclear energy.
The memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran and the Atomic Energy Commission of Afghanistan has been signed to cooperate in various fields, especially capacity building of human resource and atomic energy applications in health and agriculture.
The MoU was signed between Tahir Sharan, Director of Afghanistan Atomic Energy High Commission and Ali Akbar Salehi, head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran.
