8 Key Taliban Commanders Killed in Kunduz Province

Security officials reported the killing of 8 key Taliban commanders in Kunduz province.

The Taliban commanders were killed as a result of a joint operation of police forces and commandos conducted last night on an important hideout of insurgents in Aqtash district of Kunduz province, Nusrat Rahimi MoI spokesperson said on Tuesday.

Rahimi added that in the operation, 48 different types of mines, some ammunition and an IED factory of Taliban insurgents were destroyed.

It is said that the commanders of Taliban were killed in the operation were involved in design and organization of terrorist activities in different part of the province.
