Security officials reported the arrest of three individuals in connection with 2500 kilograms of explosives in Kabul.

National Directorate of Security (NDS) said in a statement on Tuesday that in an NDS elite forces operation in Bagrami district in the capital Kabul, 2,500 kilograms of explosive material were seized. NDS added that three suspects were also arrested in the operation.
The explosive material (ammonium nitrite type) was placed in 50 sacks in a truck which was transferring construction materials, according to NDS.
