President Ghani and Chief Executive Abdullah Arrive at Geneva for Geneva Conference

Both President Ghani and Chief Executive Abdullah have been confirmed to have arrived at Geneva for the Geneva Ministerial conference on Afghanistan. The conference begins today and runs for two days.

Dr Abdullah stated on social media that “In out deliberations we shall take stock of our achievements and responsibilities under our mutually agreed accountably framework.”

61 countries will be attending the conference and the conference this year specially focuses on Afghanistan to deliberate on peace, global support for fight against terrorism, private sector support, economic policies of Afghanistan, and many more themes and issues surrounding Afghanistan.
