The 201 Selab Military Corps of eastern Nangarhar province have claimed that at least 42 armed Taliban insurgents were killed during Afghan national security forces (ANSF) operations in the province. The officials added that another 40 at the least were wounded from Taliban’s side.
The operations were conducted in Nangarhar, Kunar, Nuristan provinces and Surobi district of Kabul province the officials said on Tuesday.
Many explosives and weapons of Taliban were also seized in the operations.
