Kabul Police said a huge explosion took place in Macroryan area, near Masoud square in the capital Kabul at around 13:10AM.
The Kabul Police spokesman, Ferdaws Faramarz told Reporterly that the blast happened in PD9 near the Masoud square of Kabul city.
Faramarz noted that the type of explosion is not clear and the exact figure of casualties is unknown.
