The death toll in Kabul wedding attack claimed by the Islamic State group has risen to 80, the Ministry of Interior’s spokesman, Nasrat Rahimi confirmed on Wednesday.
The spokesman of the Ministry of Interior (MoI) Nasrat Rahimi said that 17 civilians have died from their injuries since the incident.

He noted 30 people were in critical condition after the attack.
This comes after the initial death toll in Saturday’s blast was recorded at 63.
The blast at the hall, known as Dubai City wedding hall, came after several lethal attacks in Kabul earlier this month.
Meanwhile, on August 7, a Taliban car bomb aimed at Afghan security forces detonated its explosives on the same road, killing 14 people and wounding 145 – most of them women and children.
