The chairman of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Presidency Zeljko Komsic and Presidency Member Sefik Dzaferovic were greeted at the Kabul Presidential Palace with the highest state and military honors.
Members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina thanked President Ashraf Ghani for his hospitality and informed him of the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In the meantime, President Ghani thanked the members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina for their participation in NATO’s Resolute Support mission and for their contributions to peace-building and stabilization of Afghanistan.
Ghani informed the members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina of the current situation, goals, dynamics and results of the reform processes undertaken by the Afghan Government.
After meeting with the President of Afghanistan, members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina met with General Giles Hill, the Deputy Commander of the Resolute Support Mission.
The meeting discussed the security situation and challenges in Afghanistan and the plan of activities of the Resolute Support mission for 2020.
