Ever since news of talks between US and Taliban at Abu Dhabi was out, many media outlets suspected that there would be discussion on interim government, elections and a ceasefire.
The Taliban expressed in the statement that negotiations in Abu Dhabi were taking place with the US on ways of ending American intervention, and withdrawal of US militarily.
More details of the ongoing meeting in Abu Dhabi would be shared with media later one, the statement added.
