The presidential candidate registration process has begun based on a new schedule announced by the Independent Election Commission (IEC) on Wednesday.

IEC deputy spokesperson Abdul Aziz Ebrahimi, has said that the process of distributing information packages has ended, and so far, 70 people have received electoral information rolls.
The presidential election is scheduled to be held on the July 20, simultaneous with the provincial and district council, as well as Ghazni’s parliamentary elections.
