Local officials announced that, during the past 24 hours, 48 Taliban insurgents, including three commanders of the group, were killed and wounded in Ghazni.
As a result of seven air operations of Afghan and Coalition air forces in Giro, Andar, Ab Band districts of Ghazni province, 42 insurgents were killed and six others were wounded,mGhazni press office said in a report on Wednesday.
Ghazni press office added that three Taliban commanders in the Ab Band district were also among the insurgents killed in the air operations.
