The Ministry of Defense has released multiple statements announcing that a total of 59 insurgents were killed across 5 provinces in the past 24 hours.
21 insurgents were killed, 16 were wounded and 17 weapons were destroyed in ANA airstrikes in Chapa Khak and Nachin areas in Trenkut capital of Uruzgan Province.
In Farah, 6 insurgents were killed and 17 wounded in ANA response attacks in vicinities of Farah capital.
Another 6 insurgents were killed and 5 were wounded in ANA airstrikes in Qarabagh and Malistan districts of Ghazni Province.
2 insurgents were killed, 2 arrested, along with 1 vehicle, 1 motorbike, 3 kg opium and some weapon and ammunition being seized in ANA response attacks in Nad Ali district of Helmand.
Finally, 24 insurgents were killed and 19 were wounded in ANA airstrikes in Qaysar district of Faryab Province.
