The UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Afghanistan and head of the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan Tadamichi Yamamoto met with the chairman of Independent Administrative Reform and Civil Service Commission, Nader Nadery on Wednesday.
Mr Nadery tweeted on social media saying that he met Ambassador Yamamoto and “The two sides discussed progress on public administration reforms, peace & need for protecting the achievements in public sector reforms as well as the up-coming Geneva conference.”
UNAMA also released a similar statement announcing that the two sides discussed the preparations for Geneva Ministerial Conference on Afghanistan which is to be held later this month.
