Taliban Push Back from Jaghori in Ghazni

Local authorities have reported the withdrawal of the Taliban from areas of the city of Jaghori in Ghazni province.

Ghazni governor spokesman, Aref Noori, told Reporterly that the clash ended after 10am today and the Taliban had stepped back to the Gilan province.

According to preliminary statistics, up to now, three local police have been killed and five others injured.

He said there were no reports about the casualties of Taliban militants.

Taliban had attacked local police outposts on the border of Jaghori and Guilan in Ghazni province at 1 am on Wednesday.
