3 Civilians Killed, 2 Wounded In Kapisa, Balkh Explosions

Three civilians were killed in a roadside explosion in Tagab district of Kapisa while two were wounded near Hairatan in Balkh, said security officials on Wednesday.

Abdul Shayeq Shoresh, spokesperson for the Kapisa Police Command, told Reporterly that station wagon (saracha) collided with a mine explosion at 6:15 a.m. on Wednesday in the Khasachina area.

A woman and two men were killed in the blast, which Shoresh blamed on the Taliban.

Two people were also injured in a mine explosion in Hairatan, Balkh, said Adel Shah Adel, spokesperson for the provincial police.

No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the incidents yet.
